Other Sources to Help You Build a Thriving Practice

While I’ve been consulting with and advising new and experienced mediators informally for a long time, there are others who put themselves out on the web for other mediators long before I did. Whether you’re new to the profession or a long-time practitioner, I highly recommend these colleagues’ blogs for sound advice and excellent information. I read these folks regularly and think you should, too:

I have a few others I’ll share down the line, but start with these fine sites first.

Hi Tammy. Thanks for the “shout out” about my blog. I was excited to see the focus of your MediatorTech site. Seems like a very timely and helpful focus for modern-day mediators! Folks might also appreciate the resources collected at my FIPSE-funded clearinghouse on higher ed conflict resolution located at http://www.campus-adr.org I’m working on an updated version on a new server, so someday soon we’ll have a refreshed look and some new tools. Cheers.

Hi, Bill, and thanks for writing in! I plan to do a post soon on non-blog sites of interest to mediators and campus-adr.org will definitely be on it—it’s such a terrific piece of work and I recommend it often. Please let me know when the new look and tools are up! Best to you, Bill.

Tammy, thank you so kindly for including “Online Guide to Mediation” in your list of sources! What an honor to be included. Congratulations on launching MediatorTech–truly an idea whose time has come, as mediators begin to explore ways to use 21st century tools to build and promote their practices. We all need a knowledgeable and friendly voice to guide us. Best of luck!
